Eski CHP Genel Başkan Yardımcısı ve gazeteci 62 yaşındaki Emel Yıldırım geçirdiği kalp krizi sonucu hayatını kaybetti.

Ölüm haberi sonrası CHP Parti Meclisi Üyesi, Samsun Milletvekili ve TBMM Kadın Erkek Fırsat Eşitliği Komisyonu Üyesi Neslihan Hancıoğlu, şu paylaşımda bulundu: “Önceki dönem Genel Başkan yardımcımız Sn.Emel Yıldırım’ın, geçirdiği kalp krizi sonrası vefat ettiği haberini aldık. Allah mekanını cennet etsin, ailesinin, sevenlerinin ve partimizin başı sağ olsun.”
